What’s the weather like?

The weather in Shizuoka in late August is typically between 60–70°F.
Our ceremony will be outdoors, so please dress comfortably. We'll move indoors for the reception and dancing.

Can I bring a plus one?

Each and every person invited is truly important to us, and we’ve thoughtfully curated our guest list to celebrate with those closest to us. We kindly ask that only those named on the invitation attend—thank you so much for understanding.

What’s the registry info?

Your presence is the best gift we could ask for! However, if you'd like to contribute to our future home fund, we’ve set up a Venmo for monetary gifts:

Will there be transportation or parking?

For guests not staying at the Nippondaira Hotel, shuttle options are available from Shizuoka Station—see our Travel & Stay page for details. The Nippondaira Hotel offers free parking for hotel guests. You can also use ride share services like Uber or the GO Taxi app while in Japan.

What time should I arrive?

Please arrive by 2:30 PM to allow time to get seated before the ceremony begins.

I have dietary restrictions/allergies—what should I do?

Please let us know when you RSVP and we’ll make sure you have the diet you like. Otherwise you can get an allergic reaction then Nurse Billy will have to poke you with an epipen :)
